Setting up DWT during your trial
If you want to test the EA DWT submission flow during your trial, you'll need your Defra API credentials (Client ID and Client Secret). These are issued by Defra when your site completes DWT registration at gov.uk/guidance/report-receipt-of-waste.
Once you have them, enter them in WasteBolt at Settings → Integrations → Digital Waste Tracking. Hit Test Connection — if it returns a green tick, you're connected to Defra's live production environment and can submit waste receipt data immediately.
