Try the WasteBolt Demo — Explore the Full Platform With No Sign-Up

13 June 20265 min readBy WasteBolt Team

You Can Now Try WasteBolt Without Creating an Account

We've just opened up a live, interactive demo of WasteBolt — preloaded with realistic sample data, fully clickable, and free to explore at demo.wastebolt.app. No sign-up, no email address, no credit card. Just open the link and start clicking around.

If you've been reading our guides on Waste Transfer Notes, Digital Waste Tracking 2026, or Season Tickets and wondering what it actually looks like to manage all of that digitally, this is the fastest way to find out.

Why We Built a Public Demo

Most waste management software is sold the traditional way: book a call, sit through a sales demo, then maybe get a trial account. That works, but it puts a person between you and the product — and most people evaluating compliance software just want to see the screens first.

So we built a sandboxed version of WasteBolt that:

  • Loads instantly with a realistic dataset already in place — Waste Transfer Notes, dockets, season tickets, and a populated dashboard
  • Lets you click through every core workflow exactly as a real user would
  • Resets automatically, so nothing you do affects real WasteBolt accounts
  • Requires no registration, no payment details, and no commitment

It's the same interface your team would use day to day — just stocked with sample waste movements instead of your own.

What's in the Demo

The Dashboard

The demo opens on the main dashboard, populated with a few weeks of sample activity: recent Waste Transfer Notes, season ticket usage, and a Digital Waste Tracking 2026 readiness indicator. It's designed to give you the "at a glance" view a site manager or compliance lead would see every morning — open WTNs, recent signatures, and anything that needs attention.

Creating Waste Records — Six Ways In

Click Add Waste Movement and you'll see the same picker real users get, covering every way a waste record typically gets created on a working site:

  • Non-hazardous Waste Transfer Note — the standard digital WTN wizard, walking through Parts A–D (producer, carrier, receiving site, and waste description) with EWC code lookup built in
  • Hazardous Waste / Consignment Note — the extended version for hazardous waste, including HP codes and Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) declarations where relevant
  • Manual WTN (paper re-entry) — for digitising a paper note you've already collected, so historic records sit in the same system as new digital ones
  • Quick Capture — a stripped-down docket form built for drivers, designed to take under a minute on a phone between collections
  • Bolt Upload (AI) — upload a photo of a paper WTN or docket and have the key fields extracted automatically rather than typed in by hand
  • Season Ticket Load — log an individual load against an existing Season Ticket, for businesses with regular collections from the same producer and carrier

Each of these is fully functional in the demo. Try the EWC code search, fill out a hazardous waste form to see how the HP code and POPs sections behave, or run through Quick Capture to see how little a driver actually has to type.

Digital Waste Tracking 2026

With mandatory digital waste tracking arriving in October 2026, the demo includes a dedicated Digital Waste Tracking hub showing how WasteBolt structures records to align with the new requirements — readiness status, what's already compliant, and what digital tracking actually changes for carriers and receivers compared to a standard WTN.

If you've read our guide on preparing for mandatory digital waste tracking, this is the practical, hands-on version of that article.

Season Tickets and the WTN Hub

The WTN Hub and Season Tickets Hub show how records are organised once you've got more than a handful of them — searchable, filterable, and grouped so you can find a specific transfer or see everything logged against a particular season ticket without digging through email attachments or a filing cabinet.

Contractor Compliance

For businesses that manage subcontractors or site operators, the demo includes a Contractor Compliance section — creating a compliance request, tracking its status, and reviewing what's been submitted. It's a smaller corner of the platform, but a good example of how WasteBolt extends beyond just WTNs into the wider paperwork that waste businesses have to manage.

My Site AI

The My Site AI section gives a glimpse of how WasteBolt's AI tools work against your own site data — surfacing answers and summaries instead of requiring you to manually search through records.

Who Should Try It

The demo is aimed at anyone evaluating WasteBolt before signing up, including:

  • Waste carriers and skip hire operators who want to see the WTN and Season Ticket workflow before switching from paper
  • Receiving sites and transfer stations checking how digital records and Digital Waste Tracking 2026 fit together
  • Compliance managers who want to assess the platform without involving sales
  • Anyone who's read our blog guides and wants to see the concepts — EWC codes, HP codes, Season Tickets, DWT readiness — in action rather than in writing

If you manage a team, it's also a useful way to show colleagues what you're proposing to switch to, without setting up accounts for everyone just to have a look.

How It's Different From a Free Trial

A free trial is your own account, with your own data, and it persists. The demo is the opposite — shared, reset regularly, and built specifically so you can poke around without any setup. Think of it as a showroom rather than a workspace.

If you get to the end of the demo and want to start using WasteBolt for real — with your own carriers, sites, and waste streams — the free 7-day trial is the next step, and it doesn't require a credit card either.

Try It Now

Head to demo.wastebolt.app and have a look around. There's no tour to sit through and no form to fill in first — just a working version of WasteBolt with the data already loaded.

If you'd rather set up your own account straight away, you can start a free 7-day trial instead. Either way, you'll be looking at exactly the same platform.
