The Problem: Your Weighbridge and WasteBolt Don't Talk to Each Other
A typical small transfer station runs like this: vehicles cross the weighbridge, a yard operative writes weights on a paper docket, someone in the office manually types the data into WasteBolt to create the WTN. From October 2026, that WTN also needs to go to the EA Digital Waste Tracking platform — another manual step if nothing changes.
WasteBolt Bridge closes that gap.
What Is WasteBolt Bridge?
WasteBolt Bridge is a free Windows desktop application for yard office computers. It watches a folder on your PC for CSV exports from your weighbridge software. When your weighbridge drops a new file, Bridge reads it, applies your column mapping and Import Templates, and creates staged WTN records in WasteBolt automatically — no manual upload, no re-typing, no browser required.
It runs quietly in the Windows system tray. Set it up once, and it handles every weighbridge movement from that point on.
How It Works at a Yard
Step 1 — Weighbridge exports a CSV. Your weighbridge software (Globeweigh, Avery Weigh-Tronix, Mettler Toledo, or any system with CSV export) produces a movement file. Bridge watches the folder it lands in.
Step 2 — Bridge picks it up within seconds. The moment a new CSV appears, Bridge reads it and applies your column mapping template — vehicle reg, gross weight, ticket number. Configure once, applied forever.
Step 3 — Import Templates match each load. WasteBolt's Import Templates auto-fill producer, carrier, consignee, and EWC code for matching loads. For regular customers on a regular site, the entire WTN fills in automatically.
Step 4 — Records land in Import Review. One click — Process All Matched — converts them to WTNs. Records that need attention stay visible so nothing gets missed.
Step 5 — Files moved and logged. Each CSV moves to Processed/ after a successful run, Failed/ if something went wrong.
Duplicate Prevention
Bridge never imports the same record twice. Choose your detection method: Ticket/Docket ID (recommended), Date + Company + Vehicle, or Exact Date/Time.
DWT Ready from Day One
WTNs created through Bridge contain all the party details, EWC codes, and weight data the EA requires for Digital Waste Tracking. WasteBolt's DWT Submit view lets you review and submit them in bulk — no separate data entry, no second portal.
Getting Started
Download WasteBolt Bridge free, install on your yard office Windows PC, log in with your WasteBolt credentials, set your watch folder, and Bridge runs in the background from that point on. Setup takes around 10 minutes.
